The album, produced by Rik Simpson and Stargate sees the popular four-piece come up 11 new tracks, 12 if you count the buried treasure that is called (X Marks The Spot). Recorded in Malibu, LA and London, A Head Full Of Dreams is the follow up to Ghost Stories. The band chose not to tour Ghost Stories and headed straight back into the studio to record this latest offering instead. And that plan of action has certainly worked for Chris Martin and co. The band certainly seems revitalised, presenting as they have an album that’s bursting with energy, including first single Adventure Of A Lifetime and the vibrant Hymn For TheWeekend. According to sources, Coldplay have never enjoyed making a record more than this one. Clearly pleased with the results, plans are afoot to tour in 2016. So get ready to hear favourites old and new from the band when the tour arrives at a venue near you next year. Whether or not the band drags Mr Gallagher and Beyoncé out on the road remains to be seen, but we here at All About Magazine somewhat doubt that will be the case.
