what's happening on the day
In 2016 The New Inn held its first Gin Festival showcasing over 50 gins throughout the one day festival, it was an amazing day with great attendance from Gin lovers near and far coming along and trying the gins on offer.
This year due to customer demand we will be running the festival over 2 days and will have at least 70 gins from the UK and Overseas making an appearance. The dates for the festival are Saturday 27th & Sunday 28th May 2017 from noon until 11pm on Saturday and noon until 10pm on Sunday.
Stunning live music will be on offer throughout the weekend with Rich Evans entertaining you on Saturday and the man who has graced Glastonbury on many occasions, Rodney Brannigan, playing his one man, two guitars sets for you on Sunday afternoon alongside a great blues style band 'Northbound Acoustic Blues' There will be BBQ & Hog Roast available throughout the weekend.
Come and join us on what promises to be another amazing Bank Holiday weekend at the New Inn as we host our second Gin Festival...Our fund raising this year will be in aid of Newport Cottage Care Centre, a place close to many of our hearts. We will be holding a raffle and monies raised from glassware sales will help to raise funds for this great cause.
