And so it begins the lead up, publicity and promotion of the return of our Newport Nocturne the first ever Nocturne cycle race in the uk.
The date has been confirmed as Saturday 18th August 2018. This event is not only a great opportunity to visit Newport, Shropshire named in The Times Top Ten Market Towns in the Uk 2017, but a great family experience. Bring the whole family, you don’t have to be a cyclist to enjoy this fabulously exciting event, this is for everyone to experience pro level cycle racing like you have never seen it before...on the cobbled streets of Newport, Shropshire - under floodlights!
The last time Newport held this event was in 2014. The whole town is pleased the organisers Nick and Diane Jeggo were able to secure its return and once again Newport town council have generously supported this event.
