A charity fashion show is to be held in Newport later this month to raise funds for a village school.
The event on March 29, at Pulse Fitness, is being organised by Tibberton CE Primary School Parent Teacher Association in partnership with local businesses.
High Street fashion retailer Daisy Chain will be showcasing some of its latest spring and summer lines at the event and other local companies will also be exhibiting.
Kelly Johnson, chair of the PTA, who organised a similar event at the venue 12 months ago, said the spring fashion show was gearing up to be a great evening.
She said: “This is the first big fundraising event of the year for the PTA and we are delighted to be working with local businesses to build on the school’s links with the community.
“We have been overwhelmed by the support so far and we hope people living in Newport and the surrounding villages will come and join us for this fabulous event.
“You don’t need to be a parent or have any links to the school - the event is for the whole community.”
There will be live music throughout the event from 7pm to 9pm as well as an opportunity to purchase gifts from local traders.
Tickets cost £5 each to include a drink on arrival and are available from the school office, Daisy Chain or by contacting Kelly on 07813936385 or Lorna McCann on 07977574592.
