Telford & Wrekin Council’s leader will visit Newport next month to meet local residents and hear how they would propose improving their local community. Councillor Kuldip Sahota will host his next Conversation with Kuldip event at Newport Library, High Street, Newport on Friday 12 December from 10am – 12 noon. Every couple of months, residents are invited to bring their ideas to make their borough a better place so they can share them with the Council leader.
The Council is keen to work with local people and hear how they would propose improving their local communities. Councillor Sahota said: “These events are a great opportunity for anyone in the borough to come and talk to me and raise any issues or ideas they might have. “I have held these events all around the borough and they are always well attended. “Hearing residents’ views is vital and meeting people face-to-face at these sessions offers people the chance to do that. “I hope that everyone feels welcome to come and speak to me about how together we can make Telford and Wrekin an even better place.”
Anyone who can’t make it to Newport Library on 12 December can contact Councillor Sahota by: • Calling 01952 383220 or 07976 100434 • Emailing with details of any issue
