Website - A dedicated winter service web page, www.telford.gov.uk/winter, has been created to keep up to speed with the latest information affecting schools and services this winter and includes:
• The council’s gritting policy • Affordable warmth • Updates on school & service closures • A check my road drop down menu where you can find out if your road’s been gritted • A detailed winter maintenance page where you can find out where and when we grit, route maps, grit bin locations and the Council’s overarching Winter Maintenance policy.
In the event of adverse weather conditions, the council will also endeavour to update the winter service page of the website www.telford.gov.uk/winter as soon as it can with the latest information.
School Closures - We have a dedicated web page on the Council’s website to advise about any school closures: www.telford.gov.uk/schoolclosures
