Local opticians Duignan Phelps Optometrists are celebrating 30 years in business this September. To mark the occasion, Dispensing Optician Ellen Windsor-Crewe and her team will be holding an anniversary party in aid of Macmillan Cancer Support. Activities to raise the money will include a prize draw raffle with a top prize of a pair of Fendi sunglasses.
The celebrations will officially begin at 2pm on Thursday 19th September when guests and their friends will be invited to attend an exclusive anniversary party at the St. Marys Street practice. During the event, visitors will be able to try on the latest frames from brands including CK by Calvin Klein, Flexon and Nike.
“As a local independent business, we are incredibly proud to still be going strong after 30 years; this year is also our 21st anniversary in our current premises so in fact this event is a double celebration for us,” said Ellen Windsor-Crewe from Duignan Phelps Optometrists. “The anniversary party is our way of marking a successful 30 years. We’re also looking forward to raising some money for a fantastic cause at the same time.”
