The warm sunny days of June are now a long and distant memory, but hopefully the fun and entertainment provided by Newport Carnival will still be remembered by all those that attended. The day itself takes a fair bit of organisation, and the necessary planning has already started as we are now counting down the months to the Carnival next year.
The Carnival only succeeds by the efforts of the volunteer committee members and the valuable support of the local community and businesses who all contribute to the success of the day. Without this breadth and depth of support, the Newport Carnival would not continue and like many other local Carnivals would become a thing of the past.
If you would like to see the Newport Carnival continue in the future, if you have any ideas that you would like to suggest to the Carnival Committee, or simply want to understand more about the Carnival then please come to the AGM. The Newport Carnival only exists for you and because of you – please get involved.
