16 DECEMBER 2022 Latest work from Newport Artist The main focus of David Heath’s work is concerned with the production of Lino prints. The prints are, in most instances, of the landscape in and around Shropshire. Recently these prints have become larger and in small limited editions of five or six. The Lino prints are known as Reduction prints which means that they are produced from one block of Lino that is gradually cut away as each colour is overprinted on the previous one. Consequently once the edition size is printed no more can be made as the Lino is completely used up. David has also produced a sketchbook image on every day of the year so far.
