Local cyclists are being asked to use pedal power to pull in the pounds for Severn Hospice by taking part in The Great Big Bike Ride 2019. This popular cycling event is set to take place on Sunday 22nd September 2019. The route will begin at Shawbury Village Hall and participants can choose to complete either a 50km or 100km route through the beautiful Shropshire countryside
This is a unique ride through stunning scenery is a great way for people who enjoy cycling to raise vital funds for those living with an incurable illness in Shropshire and Mid Wales.
The different distances available mean that you don’t have to be Bradley Wiggins to participate, in fact the whole event is about enjoyment not speed or endurance.
Whether you are a regular rider in this event, or you are joining in for the first time, please get involved and book your place on what is truly a Shropshire event for all.
