The Contact Lens Recycling Programme at Duignan Phelps Optometrists has now been going since February this year, the response has been overwhelmingly positive and the uptake is continually increasing. Duignan Phelps also for those not aware are a collection point for Gnosall and Newport Lions used spectacles charity scheme.
Ellen at Duignan Phelps commented ‘This is a very easy recycling process for the user, all you need to do is collect your old contact lenses, blisters and foils, then call in to our premises drop them off with us and we organise the collection and recycling.’ Plus the good news is you don’t even have to be a customer of theirs.
