Car games are 10-a-penny but find a good one and you’ve got something great to pass a few
minutes of spare time. Bangers Unlimited is a cracking little game. As the title suggests, this is
not some souped-up Ferrari to speed around in, instead it is a crumpled used motor with the
gruffest sounding engine this side of the M54.
Controls are simple turn left or right with the touchscreen controls. There is even a break pedal icon, but the
only time you will use this is to unlodge yourself when stuck. You don’t need to worry about accelerating. The
engine is whirring away as soon as you select your race track.
Complete the course as quick as possible and attempt to beat the other battle-damaged cars. Brilliant fun and
more than a little challenging. You’ll be banging on about this one to your friends.
Rocket Crane

Now for something completely different. This unusual game is as addictive as it is infuriating.
The idea sounds pretty simple. You are at the controls of a rocket with an electro-magnet that
you must attach to metal containers by manoeuvring carefully into position.
Once attached, attempt to move each container to a designated target. Be careful though, because as well as
having to master the controls, you must be conscious of fuel levels running short. Guiding your rocket isn’t
easy by any stretch of the imagination.
Get to grips with the controls and you will soon be ready to move off the first couple of levels. Things soon
get tricky though with the introduction of multiple containers to move.
Give this game a go. It is sure to be
a moving experience, in more than one way.
Sparkler Particles

Most children at some point in their life will have held a sparkler while at a firework display.
It seems crazy that we ask our little darlings to stay clear of fire all year long, only to thrust a
lit metal rod, with flames hissing and spitting as the white-hot torch of sparks licks at gloved
little fingers.
Well, worry no more. All the fun of sparklers can be had in a multitude of apps these days. One such app,
Sparkler Particles splashes an array of colourful sparks across the screen wherever you run your finger. Try
writing your name, but be quick, because as soon as you touch your device, colours explode everywhere.
This might not have the drama of a real sparkler,
but the safety conscious among you will love it.
