How Now Mrs Brown Cow was toured in the North
of England and Ireland in 2010, but it would not be
until this year that the whole UK could experience
the show live in theatres.
Mrs Brown actor, Brendan O’Carroll, wrote the mega-
popular comedy as stage plays prior to the stories
being converted into the smash comedy TV series
loved by millions.
The current show has toured across the UK since
March this year and finishes in December.
The accompanying DVD allows those who saw it on
stage to have a lasting keepsake - or for those who
haven’t seen it, enjoy the spectacle from the comfort
of their own lounge.
The plot sees the run up to Christmas in the Brown
household. The turkey is plucked and grandad is
getting stuffed (or vice versa). Agnes Brown can’t
wait to see son Trevor for the first time in five years.
Daughter Cathy returns from her trip to America with
news that could upset Mammy. Crude, rude, but sure
to raise a smile. Mrs Brown is a sure-fire hit.
