“2016 is an enticing prospect with the Olympics in Rio and even the 950th anniversary
of the Battle of Hastings. At Goldstone many of the high days and holidays are booked
out early so here are our dates for your diary to enable you to plan ahead and avoid one
in the eye.”
St Valentine’s Weekend - 12th—14th February
Head Chef Chris Weatherstone will be cooking up the food of love all
weekend. For extra brownie points with the other half book to stay the
night in candlelit Goldstone.
Propose to your man - 29th February
St. Brigid struck a deal with St. Patrick to overcome somemen’s reticence to
get onwithproposingmarriage. OnLeapDay; thegirls get the chance to reverse
thetraditionalapproach-Goldstoneisthespot:Greatdinnerfollowedbyasimple“shallwe?”
and thenwe’vegot theChampagne to start the celebrations. We knowa good spot for the
“I dos” too.
Mothering Sunday - 6th March
The Goldstone Garden will be ablaze with daffodils and snowdrops to
welcome all Mothers on this very special Sunday. We will make sure all
Mothers leave with an extra sweet gift so there’s no need for that mad
dash to the petrol station. An incredibly popular day, plan your party
and give us a call as soon as you can.
Easter Sunday - 27th March
The Goldstone Egg Hunt is a well established favourite - extra
prizes for the eagle eyed spotters of the Golden Eggs. Full Sunday
lunch with seconds of the pudding trolley and the Daffodils should
still be in full bloom.
Father’s Day - 19th June
Still based around the great Goldstone lunch but
with a whole roast lamb cooked over charcoal in the
Goldstone Man Cave.
