It’s summer and hopefully that means barbecues
galore, with burgers blackening on forgotten coals as
we relax with another ice cold beer.
Ah yes, there is always another burger to throw on the
‘barbie’. So, you’ve got the food and the drink sorted,
but to make it a real party you are going to need some
top tunes blaring out. Enter the good folk from ‘Now
That’s What I Call Music’.
Incredibly, the listening public is now enjoying the 91st
in the regular series of compilation albums, thought of
by many as the soundtrack to our lives. From the early
1980s ‘Now’ has catalogued the popular music charts,
and 91 is no different. Among the 44 tracks, hits from
Ellie Goulding and Little Mix sit alongside tracks from
Years andYears, Rita Ora, Nick Jonas and Avici, to name
a few. Not every track will be to everyone’s taste, but
at least you won’t have to get out of your garden chair
every five minutes to put on fresh music.
And even if you absolutely hate one tune, you are only
three or four minutes from one you will be able to tap
your feet along to.

So place your faith in the compilers from ‘Now’ and let
‘91’ be the soundtrack to your summer party. Cheers
everyone.
