Valentine’s in the Granary Grill
Head Chef Guy Day and his brigade will prepare a delicious Valentines
feast for you and your loved one to be enjoyed by candlelight in the
romantic setting of the Granary Grill at Weston Park.
Guy has selected ingredients traditionally associated
with romance and that may even have aphrodisiac
qualities including seafood, asparagus, strawberries
and chocolate.
For those so inclined there will be dishes especially
designed for sharing; starting with a sumptuous
seafood platter of oysters, mussels, king prawns,
home cured gravadlax and cray fish served with aioli
and homemade sourdough bread.
The main event includes sirloin steak two ways;
wrapped in bay leaves and slow roasted and
simply grilled, served with dauphinoise potatoes,
caramelised shallots and garlic and a creamy cep
sauce.
For pudding couples can share a strawberry and
white chocolate mille feuille; flaky caramelised puff
pastry layered with vanilla cream, fresh strawberries,
white chocolate mousse and strawberry sauce.
Valentines in the Granary Grill
