Church Eaton Primary celebrates
The 17th of June saw a double celebration at Church Eaton Primary School.
The village school which has 56 pupils on roll was
judged as ‘good’ by Ofsted at the end of May, and
was one of the first schools in Staffordshire to be
inspected under the new tougher Ofsted Framework.
Also being celebrated, was the 97% whole school
attendance figure which was recognized by the LEA
in a recent annual Attendance Audit.
Headteacher Simon Shaw said “ We have a fantastic
school in a wonderful setting. We work hard to take
full advantage of the unique learning environments
that we have here, such as our allotment area,
and large natural dipping pond which enable us
to stretch the boundaries of traditional learning,
while achieving better than average progress and
attainment for our pupils in the classroom setting.
Our pupils are happy and enthusiastic to learn”.
