The idea to take over Smallwood Lodge came
from a dream one night. After working as a
holistic therapist for 17 years it was a big change,
but a change that I love and am thoroughly
enjoying.
Smallwood Lodge is a quaint old tudor house
on Newport’s high street, with its mysterious
history and abundance of character it creates
a calming atmosphere that customers – young
or old, regular or visiting while on holiday – can
experience.
Our secluded garden offers a place of tranquillity
that can help you to escape and feel as though you
are anywhere you want to be.
All of this would not have been possible without
my supportive staff who work closely together to
give our customers the best standard of service,
a service that contributes to Smallwood Lodge
having been awarded a Certificate of Excellence
by Trip Advisor.
I cannot contain my gratitude to my staff and
every customer that has joined me in making my
first year a success and turning my dream into
reality. Here’s to looking forward to many more
years at Smallwood Lodge and thank you all very
