Back to business for Newport hair studio

author: Melanie Boulter - 01 July 2020

A Newport based hair studio will be reopening on July 4 following the introduction of new safe working measures including an online booking system.

A full risk assessment has been carried out at CAPRI Hair & Beauty ahead of opening and all appropriate measures are in place ready for clients returning to the studio.

Owner Paige Turton said the safety and well-being of clients and their families was her top priority when welcoming back customers.

“I have been unable to work since the lockdown and am looking forward to having my clients back in the studio.

“In the last few months I have been on safety courses and put in extra safety measures and carried out a risk assessment so I could be ready to open as soon as we were given the go ahead.”

Measures introduced at the studio include hand sanitizer available for clients to use as they enter, clients will be asked to attend their appointment on their own if possible and only one customer will be allowed in the salon at any one time, cleaning of equipment and area will take place after each appointment, contactless payments are available, disposable gowns will be used and PPE will be available.

“Customer safety is my top concern. And I would only open if I felt it was safe to do so.” added Paige.

“I am grateful that my clients have all been really supportive and many have rebooked their cancelled appointments. I can’t wait to see them all again and find out what lockdown hair challenges are in store for me.”

Appointments with Paige starting on July 4 are available to book now at https://www.caprihair.co.uk/.
