Newport A Townscape in Its Landscape

This talk is all new history of Newport. We want everyone with an interest in Newport's history to see how Newport has developed as a result of its landscape: rivers and brooks, the marshes and sand pits and quarries. The first part of our new and definitive history of Newport will be revealed.
The talk will include some of the wonderful coloured William Hill maps of Newport and surrounding areas of 1681 which are usually hidden at the Shropshire County Record office?
The tickets are £6 each bwhich includes refreshments. There will be an Easter raffle as well
