03 July 2026 - 04 July 2026 - Newport Shropshire
what's happening on the day
Telford will come together this summer for a special evening in support of prostate cancer awareness and fundraising at AFC Telford United on Friday 3rd July, from 7.00pm until late.
The event, themed “An Evening with the Head Coach from Wolves”, promises an engaging mix of sport, stories, food, and live entertainment. Guests will hear from Rob Edwards, Head Coach at Wolverhampton Wanderers, alongside Matt Murray, former professional footballer, offering insight, conversation, and first‑hand experiences from the world of football.
Tickets are priced at £20 per person, which includes a curry and a live band adding to what is set to be an enjoyable and memorable night. Most importantly, all proceeds will help support prostate cancer awareness and vital work connected to men’s health.
Prostate cancer affects so many individuals and families, often quietly. Events like this help raise awareness, encourage early diagnosis, and bring our community together around an important cause. Ticket sales are already going well, reflecting the generosity and strength of the Telford community.
This promises to be an evening not to be missed — a chance to enjoy great company, entertainment, and conversation, while making a genuine difference locally.
