Local businesses ST Services (Telford) and Logalog (Edgmond) were delighted to present a cheque of £1500 to the Newport X-Ray Appeal last week.
When Steve Belcher and Guy Mayer of Logalog needed a specialist to lift an 8.5 tonne machine they called Martin Stevens of ST Services who came to their assistance. However, rather than accept any payment for the work Martin, instead, suggested that the money was donated to a local charity. Logalog agreed and then matched the value of the job, making a total of £1500.
