This morning Mark Santy Manager of Bod Newport presented a cheque for £1300 to Mary Young and Susan Jonhson Chairperson and Vice Chair of Newport League of Friends.
The donation is for the Newport X-ray Appeal. Mary commented ’This is a fabulous donation and we are all very grateful to Mark and his team’.
Each year Bod Newport ask the public by vote what charity they would like the company to support and last years winner was the Newport X-ray Appeal.
The money was raised over a 12 month period from Bod’s weekly Thursday Quiz nights (7.30pm, best to book).
