The beautiful Comer Woods was the setting for the DirtRun Dudmaston 10k on Sunday the 14th of January 2024.
Running around the tracks and trails of the woods on National Trust property was an undulating but thankfully dry track.
Starting and finishing near the main car park, across the main road from the country house, the route followed a clockwise “lollipop” route, featuring around 70 metres of climbing.
Starting at 9.30am, 132 runners finished the course which was well organised and also allowed Canicross runners. Annabel Bolton of Newport and District Running Club finished 15th female (48th overall) in a time of 53 minutes 42 seconds
