Shrewsbury and Newport-based TaxAssist Accountants is celebrating a double appointment.
Nigel Lomax, who set up TaxAssist Accountants in Shrewsbury in 2003 and opened a second office last year in Newport, has appointed Paula Scott and Nikala Barrow as Accounts Assistants, while they continue to study for their Association of Accounting Technicians (AAT) qualifications.
Nigel Lomax commented: “We’ve seen our business go from strength-to-strength since opening our second office in Newport last year and, at a time when demand for our specialist small business services continues to grow, we’re delighted to have Paula and Nikala join our team. Client feedback so far has been excellent and we are confident they will be real assets to the team.”
The nine-strong team, which has been providing tax and accountancy advice and services to local businesses for more than 13 years, now looks after nearly 700 clients across Shropshire.
