Cups and Wands New Age Goods, selling incense, crystals, essential oils, oracle cards, gifts, buddhas and more, is delighted to open its doors to the community of Newport and also hoping to encourage visitors from outside the town.
The business venture began as a stall in Newport Market, but proprietor Fiona Ward, could not turn down the opportunity of an ideal retail unit becoming available. This was mainly due to feedback from customers and friends stating that they would love to see something different in Newport Town Centre, and also from Cups and Wands attending events making it clear that there is an interest in New Age products.
It has also been a long held dream of Fiona’s to run a shop of this nature which reflects her spiritual beliefs and is supported by the tarot readings Cups and Wands can also offer, in addition to spiritual/psychic events and guests visiting the shop in the future. The shop will offer a loyalty membership scheme which will provide members with discounts, offers and a newsletter.
Fiona has been particularly impressed by the assistance of the local community: – with help from friends getting the shop ready, support from fellow retailers and the business community, Fiona feels that Newport is a great town to live and work in and supports the concept of shopping locally which boosts the economy of your town centre.
