120 riders braved the rain to ride our reliability ride this morning. We had riders from as far afield as Audlem, Bridgnorth, Newcastle Under Lyme, and Whitchurch along with 20+ from Newport CC and 50+ Raiders.
We raised £600 and Nova Raiders will match fund this, resulting in a total of £1200 that will go to Newport Cottage Care X ray appeal. We will make this donation on behalf of both Nova Raiders and Newport Shropshire Cycling Club, who unfortunately had to cancel their reliability ride but were raising money for the same cause.
Lastly, a big thank you to all those who rode today and particularly those who helped make it happen and special thanks to the New Inn for hosting so well as always.
