Two brothers from Newport have released a children's book, inspired by the bedtime stories Daniel would make up to tell his children. It saved the arguing over which book he would read.
Daniel and Jonathan (33 and 35, respectively) have always been creative, Daniel's love of storytelling led him to write a story about an alien and a pirate who swap ships. A few weeks later, he ran into Johnathan, who showed him a drawing of a card
that he had designed. It instantly made Daniel think that it would be ideal for a children's book.
Daniel wrote the story in rhyming verse, and Jonathan provided the illustrations. The book is called "The Ship Swap" and is now available to buy on Amazon and is suitable for children aged 5-8.
The story is about an Alien who visits Earth and meets a pirate crew. The captain and the alien decide to swap ships. What could possible go wrong?
The book is a fun and imaginative read, and it is sure to be enjoyed by children and the adults reading it. This collaboration is a wonderful example of how two brothers can work together to create something truly special.
