It’s the start of a new era for Nova Badminton Club this month as they move to their new venue at Lilleshall National Sports Centre.
Chair of the club, Susanne Mooney, said, ‘ It’s an exciting time for us. The change of venue offers better facilities for our members and the opportunity to increase the number of teams we can enter into the Shropshire County Badminton League in the upcoming season.’
The club, formerly called Burton Borough Badminton Club, is also celebrating its 21st anniversary this year. They have plans to celebrate with a party for the current and former players, later in the year.
The club has a well attended club night on Thursday nights and information about the club can be found on the club website.
