The Little Green Pantry Comes Home to Newport Market

Author | 01 September 2025

The Little Green Pantry is coming home to Newport Indoor Market! After launching as a small pop-up back in Autumn 2019, owner Keli King went on to open her successful zero-waste refill shop in Wellington, where she's proudly served the community for the past four years. Now, from 5th September, she's bringing her mission for a plastic-free future back to where it all began.

The Little Green Pantry, makes sustainable living simple. Bring your own containers and fill them with pantry staples, cleaning products, and personal care essentials – all free from single-use plastic. Every refill reduces waste, supports local suppliers, and helps protect our planet.

The Little Green Pantry believes shopping should be kind – to your health, to your community, and to the environment. By sourcing ethically, prioritising local, and cutting unnecessary packaging, The Little Green Pantry makes it easy for you to shop in a way that truly makes a difference.

Customers can shop at the stall or click and collect online at www.thelittlegreenpantry.co.uk. On Fridays, they are teaming up with the fantastic volunteers from the Wellington Cycle Delivery Team to offer free e-bike deliveries within a three-mile radius of the market.

It’s a way of helping to cut short car journeys and reduce emissions in the town – simply walk into Newport, do your shopping, and we’ll drop it back to your door by e-bike for free.

Head to Newport Indoor Market every Friday and Saturday from 5th September and discover how every refill is a step towards a cleaner, greener future. Together, we can turn the tide on plastic waste – one jar, bottle, or box at a time."
