Competition is hotting up as shops and businesses in Newport prepare their windows for the festive trading period. Newport’s Christmas windows are a site to behold.
Shops and businesses go to town on their windows every year and this year is no exception, it is well worth visiting Newport to see them.
There are several shields up for grabs that are presented each year. This year there is an additional category Non retail business, so much effort is made by everyone the chamber wanted to be as inclusive as possible.
Our wonderful indoor market will also have the opportunity to enter the market stall holders competition.

Independent judges are appointed each year to keep the competition fresh. Judging will take place between Monday 1st and Saturday 6th December.
