Newport Cottage Care is launching a new lottery during Dementia Awareness Week giving supporters the chance to win a huge £25,000 weekly — all while helping fund vital services for older people and those living with dementia in our community.
For just £1 a week, players will be entered into a weekly draw, while directly supporting the vital work of Newport Cottage Care. Helping to provide engaging activities, companionship, and support for local families and carers.
The launch shines a spotlight on the growing need for dementia support services and the importance of creating safe, welcoming spaces where older people can stay active, social, and connected. Funds raised will help provide dementia day care, companionship, wellbeing activities, and respite for carers — helping reduce loneliness and improve quality of life for vulnerable older people in our community.
“Dementia Awareness Week is about understanding, support, and community,” said Vicki Brassington, Day Care Manager. “By joining our lottery, people can make a real difference locally while also having the chance to win £25,000.”
